Easy Speak – First Steps

We’re Toastmasters, and we love to improve ourselves and how we do things! Starting in July, we started using the Easy Speak web platform for our club meetings. Why is this change so fantastic and easy? Because it will help us:

Sign up for meeting roles – Be proactive and sign up in advance to have a better selection of roles from which to choose.

Request a speech – Simply go to Easy Speak and request a speech. You can no longer just sign up for a speech. Remember, first come first serve, so think ahead, plan, and prepare.

Confirm attendance – Each week you will receive an email asking you to confirm your attendance at the next meeting. If you are on vacation or will be absent, you can inform us by filling out the attendance confirmation for those dates.

Confirm meeting roles – If you have signed up for a meeting role in the next meeting, you will be asked in an email to confirm that you are indeed going to do the role you signed up for.

If you have not yet used Easy Speak, I encourage you to do so and take some time to look around and see how it works. It’s easy and it works!
