Fall Conference in Bucharest

In November, I participated in the Break the Bubble, Lead the Way, and Shape Our Communication Conference organized by the Bucharest TM Club. Four members from our club drove down for an action-packed weekend. We met TM members from Bucharest, Cluj-Napoca, Timșoara, Iași, and Chișinău in the Republic of Moldova. Everyone was open and ready to connect with the other participants. When going to this type of event, it’s natural to have expectations of hearing great things, to hope you’ll

Ice Breaking Experience – Ioana STAICU

The ice breaker experience is something you cannot easily forget. It was quite different than what I was expecting. First of all, I thought that speaking about myself would be easy, but I discovered that it was a real challenge to sum it up in six minutes. It was not my first time to speak in front of a group, but it was the first time in front of

While you can learn some things about public speaking that are helpful by reading or talking to people, the best way to learn is to just do it! It’s a step by step journey of discovery and learning. What I appreciated the most was

Puppet Power

On our way back from the Bucharest conference in November, we stopped for some shopping at Ikea. While looking for practical items, we spotted a big pile of puppets, and each of us picked one up. It was love at first sight! I chose the pink pig thinking of Roxi’s contest speech titled Think PIG. Angi selected the lamb, Patricia decided on the sweet monkey, and we chose a chicken for Roxi. We took a picture to post on Facebook
